He noted that as of Oct. 29 at the Institute of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases L. .. Gromashevsky AMS of Ukraine, the analysis of selected samples of material from 22 patients (Ternopil). In 11 cases of confirmed influenza type A, including 7 - Influenza A/N1N1-kaliforniya.
Moreover, the Laboratory of Virology and AIDS in Central Sanitary and Epidemiological Health of Ukraine studied materials have 8 people (Lviv) from the previous clinical diagnosis of ARI in the presence of influenza virus A/N1N1. Of these, 4 - positive for the presence of influenza virus A/N1N1-kaliforniya (among the studied samples 1 - dead material).
Vasily Knyazevich said today that a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the NSDC, where the highest level to discuss issues of conflict of epidemic influenza, including consider the introduction of quarantine measures.
Ministry of Health of Ukraine appealed to international organizations for advice and requesting the required number of influenza vaccines A/N1N1-kaliforniya.
Vasily Knyazevich said that Ukraine provided antiviral drugs in full. He added that the hospital visited Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions, and held meetings with doctors, local authorities, students medvuziv.
Health Minister thanked the entire medical community, which we faithfully perform their professional duty and is the epicenter of the epidemic, providing skilled care to patients.

Прес-центр Міністр охорони здоров’я України Василь Князевич поінформував про підтвердження нових випадків вірусу грипу А/Н1N1-каліфорнія серед українців

У МОЗ України відбувся брифінг Міністра охорони здоров’я України Василя Князевича, де представникам ЗМІ та громадськості було поінформовано про підтвердження нових випадків захворювання на грип А/Н1N1-каліфорнія.
Брифінг проведено за підсумками візиту до західних областей України. «Україна ввійшла в епідемію грипу, так званого каліфорнійського грипу А/Н1N1», - повідомив міністр.
Він зазначив, що станом на 29 жовтня в Інституті епідеміології та інфекційних хвороб ім..Л.В.Громашевського АМН України проведено аналіз відібраних 22 зразків матеріалу від хворих (м.Тернопіль). В 11 випадках підтверджено грип типу А, із них 7 – грип А/Н1N1-каліфорнія.
Крім того, фахівцями лабораторії вірусології та СНІД Центральної санепідстанції МОЗ України досліджено матеріали ще 8 осіб (м.Львів) з попереднім клінічним діагнозом ГРВІ на наявність вірусу грипу А/Н1N1. Із них 4 – позитивні на наявність вірусу грипу А/Н1N1-каліфорнія (серед досліджених зразків 1 – матеріал померлого).
Василь Князевич повідомив, що сьогодні відбудеться засідання Кабінету міністрів України та РНБО, де на найвищому рівні обговорять проблеми з протистояння епідемії грипу, в тому числі розглянуть питання введення карантинних заходів.
МОЗ України звернулося до міжнародних організацій про консультативну допомогу та з проханням надати необхідну кількість вакцин від грипу А/Н1N1-каліфорнія.
Василь Князевич повідомив, що Україна забезпечена противірусними препаратами у повному обсязі. Він також додав, що відвідав лікарні Тернопільської, Чернівецької областей та провів засідання за участі медиків, місцевої влади, студентів медвузів.
Міністр охорони здоров’я подякував всій медичній спільноті, яка сьогодні сумлінно виконує свій професійний обов’язок та знаходиться в епіцентрі епідемії, надаючи кваліфіковану допомогу хворим.
Василь Князевич закликав не вдаватися до паніки, максимально дотримуватись рекомендацій з профілактики гострих респіраторних інфекцій та вчасно звертатися по медичну допомогу.
