Seventy A(H1N1) cases confirmed in Ukraine, 17 die

Seventy cases of the A(H1N1) flu subtype have been laboratory-confirmed in Ukraine, and 17 of these cases ended up lethally, Ukrainian First Deputy Health Minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets said at a news briefing on Nov. 11.

"But this does not mean that the other deaths were not caused by this flu virus, because everything depends on the way laboratory samples are taken and transported," he said.

Heroes Cassandra Complex 2009-11-12 10:06:32 Hello, Over the last week or two I have been watching 'Heroes' for the first time and was bemused to find the virus story arc in season 2 of the series (I still have many episodes to go, so don't as yet know how the story pans out). This arc is brought into the series at the same time two of the regular characters travel to the Ukraine to see the last paintings by a character who could paint the future.
